CAPACITY (BYOC).

Supplement available capacity with FlexEnergi’s Virtual Gas Turbine. VGT helps data centers secure incremental capacity, accelerate interconnection, and lower demand charges.

Incremental
Capacity

Dispatchable megawatts sourced from thousands of VGT-specific battery installations and recruited residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sites — capacity you can count on 8,760 hours per year.

Faster
Interconnection

Offset load growth on the utility’s system so new campuses can energize sooner, easing the constraint that holds up queue positions and phased build-outs.

Lower Demand
Charges

Shave coincident peaks against your billing determinants and reduce exposure to capacity and transmission charges — verified with auditable M&V records.

Available Contract Sizes

VGT contracts are available in standard capacity blocks sized to match the addressable behind-the-meter resource base within a utility service territory. Multiple blocks may be stacked.

Deployment Timeline

FlexEnergi operates as a full-service implementation partner. The utility or commercial offtaker signs a single VGT capacity contract. FlexEnergi handles all resource enrollment, hardware, and ongoing operations.

1

Territory Assessment

Weeks 1–2

DER census, addressable load mapping, interconnection point scoping.

2

Contract & Integration

Months 2–4

VGT capacity agreement, SCADA/EMS protocol integration, metering configuration. Utility coordination.

3

DER Enrollment

Months 4–12

Customer registration, controller and battery installations, incentive delivery, fleet commissioning.

4

Commissioning & Testing

Months 12–15

Dispatch testing, grid code compliance verification.

5

Commercial Operation

Month 15

Full capacity in service. Ongoing optimization, fleet growth, and market stacking.

6

Growth

Month 15 onward

As needs grow, so will VGT. Stack additional capacity blocks as load expands — no new contract structure required.
